What’s up, BateWorld? Some of you may know me already, but for those of you who don’t, my name is Tyler and I’m a sex worker, privacy advocate, and out and proud masturbator. We’re also thinking more about what it means to be authentic, present, and real. With the rise of generative AI and LLMs, it seems more significant than ever to recognize what makes BateWorld unlike anything else online: you. Our members—the guys who make up this incredible community—are real men who make real connections by sharing real experiences with each other and with the world.
Their videos, photos, and stories give power to the idea that masturbation is good, normal, and fun. That masturbation is sex. Seeing dating/hookup apps and data scrapers using generative AI guys (with too many fingers and the wrong number of teeth 🫣) makes me sure that won’t ever be the path for us. I will tell you today with confidence: we won’t use your uploads to train AI models, and we won’t prioritize AI technology over real tools to protect you and your information. And we’d rather show you real guys on Bluesky, Instagram, and X. We believe you should be able to demand that from any site or system you join.
I view providing a space where men can be and show who they really are as the #1 job of our platform. I can’t describe what an honor it is to spend my days shoring up BateWorld for the road ahead.
