BateWorld is currently seeking a project-based WordPress Developer. You’ll work directly with the BateWorld team to create a fresh, public-facing platform which shows the world what this community is all about. For the right candidate, it’s a chance to help shape BateWorld’s future for years to come.
Role Highlights:
- Develop custom theme and page types to purpose
- Translate static designs and boards into interactive front-end experiences
- Streamline WordPress plugin reliance
- Optimize for SEO from the ground-up
- Troubleshoot WordPress-related issues and provide solutions
You are:
- A self-starter who’s accustomed to working without supervision
- Looking for a short term (1-3 months) project and not a full-time role
- An effective English language communicator who understands the challenges of being part of a decentralized but collaborative team
- Already proficient (2 or more years) with WordPress
- Already proficient (2 or more years) with HTML, CSS, and Java
- Already familiar with adult online communities and social media platforms
- Comfortable and familiar with explicit adult entertainment media and products
- Someone who already understands BateWorld’s commitment to a human-first, AI-free environment and doesn’t need to be told that prompting is for poseurs
