Penis Sensitivity - The Bator Blog

“I Guess This Is Really Good!”

QUESTION:

My cock is extremely sensitive, the whole thing. Yeah, the head is especially, but that spot on the underside of the head is unbelievable, almost intolerable! When I’m really hard, I can just barely touch it there, with the slightest touch and I’m in total bliss! I can shoot really easily that way! Is this usual?

RESPONSE:

You are fortunate in many ways to have such a sensitive penis. This can also make it more challenging to develop the ability to sustain arousal and stimulation for longer periods, at higher levels, without reaching ejaculation before you wish to do so. Your extreme penis sensitivity may be partly genetic, simply an ancestral gift, but also sensitivity can be protected and preserved for many men by consistently using lubrication to masturbate. Please use lube.

Men who have developed a habit of masturbating without lube may desensitize the surface skin of the penis. On a microscopic level at least, you can develop callus, or rough and less sensitive surface-layer cells. Some intact men who are blessed with a foreskin do not feel that lubrication is necessary, because the foreskin may retain that marvelous secretion we commonly call pre-cum, between the foreskin and the head as a slick layer.

The foreskin itself protects the glans penis, the head of the penis when it is covered, and keeps the precum moist a lot longer than on the exposed glans. However, I also find that my intact friends often discover that lubrication can still take their pure penis pleasure to higher levels than before. It may also encourage exploration of other delights such as nerves along the lower shaft, adding ball play, and rubbing your perineum behind your balls, as well.

For circumcised men, the amount of sensitivity at the frenulum, that special place on the underside of the glans can vary from a lot, like yours, to little or no extra sensation. Regardless, the entire glans is likely to be especially sensitive, though this is no reason to ignore other parts of the penis, or indeed of your body, such as your nipples and anus.

Because you are blessed with extreme penis sensitivity also means you may need to work hard to learn to “endure” intense stimulation for longer periods, with such practices as deep breathing and learning to keep relaxed during arousal. Pay close and mindful attention to your level of arousal, considered as a scale between 1-to-10, in which 9 is ejaculation. When you get close to ejaculation around 7-1/2 or 8, slow down, take a deep breath—relax.

Because sexual arousal is a thrilling, even exciting thing, sometimes men don’t understand at first when I suggest you seek to keep yourself relaxed during arousal and stimulation of your penis. Erection is part of the relaxation response, and stress is part of the fight/flight response.

So, I suggest you accept the sensitivity of your penis as a special gift. Undertake a project of learning to “endure” the extreme pleasure it provides, by employing some of the tactics I have suggested. Enjoy your penis!

The Batemaster (Bruce P. Grether)

How Bruce P. Grether became the Batemaster

Among his earliest memories, Bruce recalls seeing an adult man’s penis swing about anchored in a nest of curly brown hairs when the man was changing clothes. That penis fascinated him and he somehow knew it was of major importance. He also remembers how good it felt to slide down a stairway banister or to climb a tree with pressure between his legs sending delicious sensations all through his body.

At an early age, he played doctor with another boy his age, and the frottage he enjoyed as they rubbed their penises together made him feel One with All Things.

He was older, maybe 9 or 10 years when he figured out how to actually masturbate while taking a shower. Immediately Bruce became a fan of self-pleasure, though, with puberty, he became extremely shy about his body being seen. Still, when his pubic hair sprouted and his penis grew bigger, it astonished him how incredible the sensations could feel with adult genitalia.

All through his 20s and 30s Bruce loved masturbating and did it often. Something kept tell him though, that there could be more to it. None of the books he read about Tantra and Taoist erotic cultivation provided simple how-to instructions. Finally, in his early 40s, he came upon Joseph Kramer’s video about male genital massage: FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN.

Having no playmates to try this with, he tried it on himself. In the process, he discovered what he soon named “Mindful Masturbation.” For 6 weeks he masturbated for hours every day, and did not ejaculate once! This was the Penis Paradise he had been looking for since his adventures playing doctor as a young boy. He was changed forever and lost most of his shyness and insecurities.

Bruce began to listen deeply to whatever his penis told him. This way he learned more and more about male masturbation, the penis, and he studied human sexuality. Soon he was hired to write professionally for the sex education site JackinWorld (dot) com, which he did for some years under the name “Bruce McFarland.”

Since then, his erotic activism is more radical and he uses his actual given name: Bruce P. Grether, AKA the Batemaster. He has hosted workshops and now does online masturbation coaching. In 2012 his best-selling book THE SECRET OF THE GOLDEN PHALLUS was published and with his handsome young friend Blue Tyger he created the Erotic Engineering site to explore advanced male self-pleasure practices.

Bruce considers himself a Missionary of the Male Mysteries and his work continues.

  1. As many of us know, the sweetspot on our underside is an amazing and very pleasureful part of the penis for sure. Perhaps even more so for uncuts. And likely a keen trigger spot for many masturbators and one to be explored and developed.

  2. My penis has always been pretty sensitive for someone who is circumsized. I spent a very long time hating it, wishing I could bate in the same way as other, less sensitive men. At one point I even tried to dull my sensitivity through more permanent means. Luckily my frenulum recovered from that mistake. I’ve since grown to accept then appreciate that sensitivity as a gift.

Once I stopped measuring my own pleasure, technique, and stroke counts against those of other men, I finally was able to relax enough to discover my own pace and techniques, taking more control over my own pleasure.
I started to think of my penis as an instrument, one that can be “played” in specific ways to evoke varied notes of pleasure. Through the process I likened my sensitivities to deftly using the keys and foot pedals of a piano, to tingsha bells, and water bells. Those sensitivities began to translate to simple light touches or flicks bringing out 3-10 second waves of pleasure —feelings other guys might need hours of edging to arrive at — which had been mine to enjoy all along.

Sure, I’ll probably never win a game of Cock Hero. But in those moments when I’m taking advantage of the sensitivities I was naturally born with, I feel like the luckiest man alive.

  3. I am now 77 years old and masturbate daily for 67 years.
Of course, I also notice a lessening of Glans sensitivity.
And the penis has not been really hard for some years now. Good that there is the masturbation because the erection is still enough. , Unfortunately, I sometimes have to stop masturbation because of the now lower sensitivity, although emptying would be enjoyable. Today I tried to stimulate my glans with a jet of water and an electric toothbrush and almost felt nothing.
