Ask The Batemaster: After Soccer Shower Bate

QUESTION: I’m in college and I love to bate in the showers after soccer practice. Mostly other guys pretend to ignore it, but sometimes they watch me with interest, which excites me more! Sometimes they even join in by starting to do the same, which is super-hot. A few times we’ve actually stroked each other. But is this dangerous legally? Is this public exposure?

RESPONSE: What you describe is doubtless a fairly common experience: naked guys + wet showers and soap = asking for erections and stroking them. Still, the fact is that communal showers in gymnasiums and other school facilities are considered shared public space. I’ve got no wish to burst your bubble about what seems like it ought to be considered just part of the fun of being a healthy guy, right? Only don’t forget that you are considered to be responsible for how your activity while being seen naked by others may affect them.

In the context of a school shower following soccer practice, you cannot avoid naked bodies seeing other naked bodies. Further, even the matter of becoming aroused and perhaps fully erect in the presence of the other fellows, probably because of seeing them and being seen by them, in the behavioral sense is totally natural and understandable.

The situation can become a bit problematic when you extend this experience into the realm of social interaction and social responsibility. When you engage in sexual behavior such as masturbating in the presence of others sharing the showers with you, it may seem like harmless fun and extremely hot to you. But others sharing the experience, not intending anything of the kind, may feel quite differently.

Many guys on Bateworld will doubtless feel it could be a delightful scenario, a script for harmless and exciting fun. That’s surely how it ought to be considered. However, as I’ve written about in other columns, such as the one about the fellow caught masturbating on a late night city bus, and the fellow masturbating in the Central Park shrubbery, keep in mind that in the actual situation, some participants might not welcome the experience of seeing you or anyone else masturbate. It can probably be considered indecent exposure or public lewdness.

Of course, this suggests the obvious: What is considered decent exposure? In real life, male nudity happens, but the penis is still a powerful taboo, for complicated and weird reasons.

Take care to sense what others feel in this situation: by their expressions and body language, it will likely be clear if they are not interested, or even upset. Don’t push your display on anyone. Still, where are the clear lines about flaccid penises, partly erect penises, soaping yourself for hygiene, and actual masturbation? Be aware of the responsible and social dimensions. We can take ourselves too seriously: so, pay attention to how you may be affecting others, but have fun!

A note from The Batemaster: I’m honored that the guys at Bateworld have asked me to respond to some questions from male masturbators around the world every week.

Always check with your doctor about any issues you might be experiencing with your sexual organs. Prompt diagnosis and treatment are important. This article’s purpose is to inform and entertain readers and is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.

The Batemaster (Bruce P. Grether)

How Bruce P. Grether became the Batemaster

Among his earliest memories, Bruce recalls seeing an adult man’s penis swing about anchored in a nest of curly brown hairs when the man was changing clothes. That penis fascinated him and he somehow knew it was of major importance. He also remembers how good it felt to slide down a stairway banister or to climb a tree with pressure between his legs sending delicious sensations all through his body.

At an early age, he played doctor with another boy his age, and the frottage he enjoyed as they rubbed their penises together made him feel One with All Things.

He was older, maybe 9 or 10 years when he figured out how to actually masturbate while taking a shower. Immediately Bruce became a fan of self-pleasure, though, with puberty, he became extremely shy about his body being seen. Still, when his pubic hair sprouted and his penis grew bigger, it astonished him how incredible the sensations could feel with adult genitalia.

All through his 20s and 30s Bruce loved masturbating and did it often. Something kept tell him though, that there could be more to it. None of the books he read about Tantra and Taoist erotic cultivation provided simple how-to instructions. Finally, in his early 40s, he came upon Joseph Kramer’s video about male genital massage: FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN.

Having no playmates to try this with, he tried it on himself. In the process, he discovered what he soon named “Mindful Masturbation.” For 6 weeks he masturbated for hours every day, and did not ejaculate once! This was the Penis Paradise he had been looking for since his adventures playing doctor as a young boy. He was changed forever and lost most of his shyness and insecurities.

Bruce began to listen deeply to whatever his penis told him. This way he learned more and more about male masturbation, the penis, and he studied human sexuality. Soon he was hired to write professionally for the sex education site JackinWorld (dot) com, which he did for some years under the name “Bruce McFarland.”

Since then, his erotic activism is more radical and he uses his actual given name: Bruce P. Grether, AKA the Batemaster. He has hosted workshops and now does online masturbation coaching. In 2012 his best-selling book THE SECRET OF THE GOLDEN PHALLUS was published and with his handsome young friend Blue Tyger he created the Erotic Engineering site to explore advanced male self-pleasure practices.

Bruce considers himself a Missionary of the Male Mysteries and his work continues.

  1. Unfortunately, much of our culture doesn’t understand male sexuality very well at all. The site of an erect penis in a public place sends horror down the spines of many! So as a result, we, as men, try to hide our arousal from all eyes as if it were something shamefully vile. Nevertheless, we may find ourselves in a situation, in the locker room, showers, sauna, for example, naked and suddenly aroused at the sight of other naked men. What to do when one of those other men is obviously aroused by you?

Gay, straight, bi….just terms that try to put people in categories for easy understanding. They actually mean nothing. Men are naturally wired to seek sexual gratification wherever and whenever the need arises. Certainly your pet male dog knows this when he spontaneously pops a boner in front of your guests!

Thankfully, there are venues, if you live in a large city, where men of all persuasions can jerk off together without fear of arrest. As for the rest of you horny dick strokers, it’s your call.

  2. Wow, who wouldn’t with all those sexy hot sweaty soccer players moving about.(man sweat).Mmm!!.
It’s only dangerous legally,if there married and only if it’s reported is it public exposure.

If you believe it ? Where’s the harm,go on live a little.
